Israeli are well come in Indonesia
State Palace: Indonesia Never Boycotts Israel Products
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Johan Budi Sapto Pribowo, the President's Special Staff of Communication said that Indonesia will not boycott any Israeli products. Johan explained that the boycott statement conveyed by President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo referes to Israel’s policy on Palestine occupation.
"What [the President's] mean was not goods product," Johan said on Tuesday, March 9, 2016.
Johan said that President Jokowi's boycott statement was aimed at Israel’s policy on occupying Palestine territory, for example, a boycott on the ban imposed by Israel against Palestinian from entering the Al-Aqsa complex.
Johan asserted that the decision to boycott Israel's policy on Palestine has been agreed in the recent Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit.
During the closing of the OIC Summit on Monday, March 8, 2016, President Jokowi stated that the OIC needs to put pressure against Israel, for example, by boycotting Israel's product produced within the occupation territory.

The Indonesian minister was scheduled to inaugurate the first Indonesian consulate in the Palestinian territories.
Israel denied an entry permit to the foreign minister of Indonesia, Retno Marsudi, preventing her from meeting with her Palestinian counterpart Riyad al-Malki in Ramallah as planned on Sunday.
The Indonesian minister was also scheduled to inaugurate the first honorary Indonesian consulate in the Palestinian territories.
Israel refused to grant Marsudi an entry visa from Jordan to the West Bank because the Indonesian foreign minister had no plans to also meet with Israeli officials.

Israel and Indonesia do not have formal diplomatic ties.
Instead, Malki traveled to Jordan to meet with Marsudi, according to sources in the PA Foreign Ministry.
The sources said that Malki decided to go to Amman “out of appreciation for the historic and special ties between the State of Palestine and Indonesia.”
The sources pointed out that Indonesia has been very supportive of Palestinian issues, especially in international forums.
Indonesia has long supported Palestinian self-determination outside the context of the two-state solution and first recognized Palestine as a state in 1988.
Both former PA chairman Yasser Arafat and PA President Mahmoud Abbas have visited Indonesia. Abbas was in Jakarta just last week to attend the Organization of Islamic States summit on the stalled Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
Indonesia has refused to establish diplomatic ties with Israel until the conflict with the Palestinians has been resolved.
Just after the Oslo Accords were agreed upon in 1993, former prime minister Yitzhak Rabin visited Jakarta.
But no high-level Indonesian diplomat at the level of foreign minister or president has ever made a trip to Israel.
The Foreign Ministry and the Prime Minister’s Office had no response to the matter.
Thanks Israel Authority, this is a good action. God bless you!!!
Israel stops Indonesia's foreign minister from meeting with PA.
Israeli authorities stopped Indonesia’s foreign minister from entering Ramallah to visit the Palestinian Authority, the Palestinian foreign ministry said on Sunday.
The Israeli decision to prevent Retno Marsudi’s entry to Ramallah was sparked when she refused to meet with Israeli government officials in Jerusalem, Haaretz reported.
Marsudi was reportedly travelling to Ramallah to dedicate an honorary Indonesian consulate to the PA and to meet Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki and President Mahmoud Abbas.
There are no diplomatic ties between Indonesia and Israel, but Haartez reported that in recent days there has been contact between the two countries, as Israeli officials insisted that if Marsudi visited Ramallah she would also need to meet with Israeli politicians in Jerusalem.
While Israel, as a result of policy changes in recent years, does not allow foreign ministers from countries with which it has relations to visit the PA without also visiting Israeli officials, ministers from Arab and Muslim countries had previously been allowed to go to Ramallah only.
Israel's foreign ministry declined to comment and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office did not immediately respond to an AFP query.
Marsudi reportedly announced her visit during the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in Jakarta held earlier this month. During the summit, the OIC called for a ban on products from Israeli settlements in the occupied territories.
Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim-majority country.
